Projects, folders, and templates

Projects are workspace-owned film productions. The project list and sidebar are designed for repeated work: search, filter, sort, folders, stars, recent projects, and direct open.

Project list

The Projects page supports:

• Search.
• Status filter: any status, draft, in progress, completed, failed.
• Sort: newest, oldest, alphabetical.
• Starred view.
• Folder filter.
• Create project entrypoint.
• Project card actions for starring, moving, and deleting.

The sidebar also shows a short Recent projects list and the first few folders.

Folders

Folders group projects inside a workspace. Users can:

• Create folders.
• Filter the project list by folder.
• Move a project into a folder.
• Remove a project from a folder.
• Rename and delete folders from the folder controls.

Deleting a folder does not need to delete the projects inside it. The UI refetches folders and projects after folder changes so the project list reflects the current organization.

Stars

Stars are per-project markers for quick retrieval. Starred projects can be shown from the project list and toggled from project cards or the sidebar recent-project menu.

Deleting projects

A project can be deleted when it is not locked by an in-flight generation. If generation is still running, the delete attempt can be blocked with a "Generation still running" state.

Deleting a project is different from removing a saved character or voice. A project is the whole production record, including its generated assets, status, timeline, and render history.

Templates

Templates are published examples that help users start from a proven brief. The Templates page supports:

• Category filters.
• Search by template name and description.
• Pagination.
• Template preview modal.
• Use Template action.

When a template is used, the app navigates to the Home composer with a template parameter. The composer fills the prompt from the template brief when the prompt is empty, focuses the composer, and removes the parameter so refresh does not reapply it.

Template guidance

Use templates when the production structure is known, such as a documentary format, historical explainer, science episode, or narrative style. Replace the example subject, audience, and constraints before confirming the run.
