Workspaces, members, and roles
Workspace member management, invite behavior, and role expectations.
Workspace members share access to workspace projects, saved characters, credits, billing visibility, and settings according to role.
Member roles
The app exposes four roles:
| Role | Intended access |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full control over workspace, members, billing, and content. |
| Admin | Manage members and content. |
| Editor | Create and edit projects. |
| Viewer | Read-only access. |
Role labels appear in the workspace switcher and People settings.
People page
Settings > People supports:
- Searching members by name or email.
- Filtering by role.
- Viewing pending invitations.
- Inviting members by email.
- Choosing a role for each invite.
- Updating member roles.
- Removing members.
- Revoking pending invitations.
- Exporting the member list to CSV.
The page shows current member count, pending invite count, and the plan's member cap when one exists.
Member caps
Plan caps are enforced by workspace:
| Plan | Member cap |
|---|---|
| Creator | 3 |
| Studio | 5 |
| Pro | Unlimited |
| Enterprise | Unlimited |
When a cap applies and the workspace is full, the People page links to plan upgrade.
Invitations
Invites are sent by email and expire after 7 days. Pending invites count toward the visible invite list. A pending invite can be revoked before it is accepted.
Removing a member
Removing a member removes their workspace access. It does not delete existing projects created by that user. Project records keep their creator metadata where available.
Operational guidance
- Use Owner sparingly.
- Use Admin for people who manage credits, folders, and members.
- Use Editor for creators who produce and revise projects.
- Use Viewer for client review or lightweight inspection.
- Export the member CSV before major workspace cleanup if you need an audit trail.
